Big Brothers In Arms

Big Brothers In Arms

Picture 48Big Brothers-In-Arms pairs up older veterans (Vietnam-Era and up) with younger soldiers returning from deployment and/or recently discharged. Our purpose is to give our soldiers (sailors, Marines, Airmen, etc.) someone to “talk it out” with, someone to “hang” with, someone who understands what he’s been through. We provide a non-judgemental but sympathetic ear to help ease re-entry into “the world.”

Big Brothers-In-Arms volunteers are veterans from all branches of the military, and we have them in every state.

Big Brothers-In-Arms is a collaborative effort that is an offshoot of three other Troop-Support organizations:

The Adam Conboy Memorial Fund “Operation Bedding,”

“A Hero’s Welcome,” and

the “Warriors’ Watch Riders.”

WE NEED YOU TO VOLUNTEER! Be a Big Brother-In-Arms to a young soldier who needs a friend. WE NEED MEN AND WOMEN, VETERANS OF ALL SERVICE BRANCHES FROM ALL ERAS, LATE 1960’S TO MID-1990S. If you can spare an hour or so a week to suppor our military men and women, simply send us your name, service branch, years of service, duty stations along with your contact information (state, city, phone and email) and we will add your name to the list of available Big Brothers. YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE KEPT STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL and will never be shared without your express permisison.
